What personal information do students need to share to create an account?

The account creation process varies slightly between minors, and those over the age of 13.

Minors will need to enter the following information to create a Garbanzo account:
-Birthdate (needed to indicate if the student is a minor or not in order to comply with COPPA)
-Chosen username for Garbanzo
-Parent/Guardian email address

Students over the age of 13 will need to enter the following information to create a Garbanzo account:

-Name
-Birthdate (needed to indicate if the student is a minor or not in order to comply with COPPA)
-Chosen username for Garbanzo
-Email address
