How Students Get Started with Google Classroom Accounts

Google Classroom is a Premium Feature only. If you would like to use the Google Classroom integration, but are not a Premium subscriber yet, you can change your subscription plan at any time by visiting "My Settings" and selecting "Change Plan."

Please note: Teachers should not assign lessons or paths until all students have clicked to Authorize Google Classroom within their settings. Lessons will not push out to student accounts who have not Authorized Google Classroom.

For students who have previously had a Garbanzo account:

To successfully be integrated between Garbanzo and Google Classroom, they must:

  1. Link student Google account for Single Sign On (SSO) purposes (under "My Settings")
  2. Authorize Google Classroom (under "My Settings")

After the above steps are completed, student accounts are ready to be integrated with Google Classroom.

All students can now sign on with Google from https://garbanzo.io/signin . Your students should select to "Sign in with Google" to move forward with logging into their new Garbanzo accounts. They will not have unique Garbanzo usernames, nor Garbanzo passwords.

For students who have never had a Garbanzo account:

To successfully be integrated between Garbanzo and Google Classroom, they must:

  1. Log in from https://garbanzo.io/signin and click to "Sign in with Google"
  2. Authorize Google Classroom (under "My Settings")
